Emerald Escape is a hard rock band founded by lead singer Chris George. Emerging onto the music scene with a finished blend of catchy riffs and hooks that will punch you in the heart.
Hailing from Seattle, WA, Chris, who records under the name Emerald Escape, released his debut single “Kill The Pain” on March 13th, 2020. The song is a hard-hitting rock tune that shouts from his heart. The lyrics take you on a journey where listeners will experience Chris' fight to kill chronic pain, with heavy riffs and heart-pounding drums from his wife Lori Peters, (former drummer of the GRAMMY® Award-nominated rock band Skillet), fills the chest and adds to the heft of the lyrics and chords ringing out. “Kill the Pain” goes out to anyone enduring pain, struggling in life, or feeling hurt and hopes to provide hope and encouragement through those struggles.


In 2013, Chris launched the Emerald Escape moniker while he was employed at a local hospital, however, after a major injury in 2017, Chris wasn’t well enough to play music for several months and due to the pain in his body, inability to walk, and other related complications he lost his job in 2019, and during this dark time, he returned to writing music with one goal in mind: to release music about how he gets through pain, struggles, abandonment, doubt and sin.
